To the most inspiring person in our lives,
Ever since I was blessed with your presence on the day we met, you have been there for me through the ups and the downs. It's been quite the roller coaster ride. Quite honestly, you are the reason why my life is still together. You always pick me when I'm down. But actually, thank you for always picking me up after one too many cranberry and vodkas. And while we're on the subject, thank you for holding my hair during those nights as well. You're always just a phone call away. Thank you for picking up the phone when I need advice on what wear no matter what the time of day it is. In fact, thank you for lending me you clothes AKA my second wardrobe.
Thank you for your brutal honesty. Without you who knows what hair color I would have or what boys I would date. Most importantly I would probably leave the house looking like an idiot every morning. Speaking about mornings, thank you for all those times you woke up at 8 AM to get Dunkin Donuts with me. I can always count on you when times are tough. Like the nights I only have 33 cents in my bank account and am in desperate need of a pizza. Thank you for putting up with me at my ugliest times, such as finals week and Sunday nights. Thank you for being a shoulder to cry on when Derek Shepherd died and when Zayne left One Direction.
Thank you for all the times you came to rescue me at 2 AM on weekend nights. Thank you for not passing judgement when I sing in the car or when I finish a whole bottle of wine by myself. Thank you for having me over for family dinners and mooching off your home cooked meals. Thank you for keeping your patience on the days where I move at a negative pace. Thank for you pushing me to go to class and making sure I'm awake for work. Thank you for pretending to care when I complain about the same thing for the hundredth time even when you have no idea what I'm talking about half the time. Thank you for telling me I was right all the times I was wrong and you knew that. But also, thank for telling me when I was wrong the times when I really needed to hear it.
The truth is, life would not be the same without you and I really don't ever think I will truly be able to thank you enough. I am one of the lucky ones and that is because I have you in my life. There are many things in life to be grateful for and your role in my life is one of them. There really is no friend out there like you.
