Thank you for sticking with me through the awkward phase of our friendship.
Those first few dinners in the dining hall together when we had just met each other were pretty awkward. But, I am thankful for them now because without us pushing through those we wouldn’t have become as close and able to talk about anything besides just what our favorite color is.
Thank you for getting food with me at all hours of the day.
There’s no better time to get wings than at one o’clock in the morning on a Monday. I’m glad I found friends that enjoy food as much as I do.
Thank you for listening to my problems, no matter how little they were, and giving me advice.
Whether it was worrying about classes, homesickness, or friend drama, my friends always knew what advice to give me to help me worry less. It was nice knowing that I always had someone to vent to about my problems or get a hug from and tell me it was going to be okay.
Thank you for watching Netflix with me.
Countless laughs were shared watching The Office when we were supposed to be studying for finals. I am thankful for them because it helped relieve some stress and give me energy to studying, once we were done watching at least a couple episodes of course.
Thank you for studying with me.
Most nights in college were spent studying until early in the morning around 2:00am or 3:00am. I don’t think I would’ve been able to study for that long if I didn’t have my friends with me studying as well and saying “You can do it!”.
Thank you for giving me motivation to keep on going.
While I was studying for a test and not feeling like I could understand something, it was very tempting to just stop studying and give up. But, my friends gave me the motivation to keep on trying along with cheering me up when I got a bad test score.
