Dear Mom and Dad,
Thank you for being the best parents a girl could ask for. I truly do not know what I would do without you two. I know I don't tell you enough how grateful I am and how much I love you, but I hope this letter lets you know at least a few things I am thankful for.
Thank you for being my biggest supporters in everything I do.
Thank you for staying up late to watch my favorite shows with me.
Thank you for always being there to talk to me whether I am upset about something orjust talking about our days.
Thank you for picking me up on my worst days and letting me know everything will be alright, and I honestly believe it when its coming from you.
Thank you for the countless home cooked meals, even now that i'm not living with you I can still count on some amazing food when I come home.
Thank you for texting me back in 2.5 seconds
Thank you for dropping whatever you were doing to hear whats going on in my life.
Thank you for putting up with my attitude. (I get it from you mom)
Thank you for teaching me how to be independent.
Thank you for pushing me when I need it most
Thank you for always answering the phone for my stupid questions.
Thank you for unconditionally loving me.
Thank you for always giving me your advice, but still allowing me to make my own decisions.
Thank you for always encouraging me to chase my dreams.
Thank you for always putting my brother and I first, even when I know you had more important things to do.
Thank you for driving me to my friends' house, the mall, practices, and everything in between before I could drive.
Thank you for saving all of my artwork that I made in elementary school and still having them hung on the fridge and around the house.
Thank you for listening to me rant about my friends, boys, or school.
Thank you for telling me you love me when I need to be reminded most.
Thank you for being my best friends.
And thank you for being the best, most caring, and loving parents. You've helped me become the person I am today and for that I am so grateful. I couldn't imagine not having you guys in my life. I love you.
Sincerely,
Your Daughter
