TGIT Is Back On ABC!

After the two-month winter hiatus Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder returns Thursday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. ET, 9 p.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET on ABC.

Shonda Lynn Rhymes is the creator and producer of these remarkable shows and boy does she know how to create drama. Shondaland is the name of Rhymes’ production company which includes these three shows. TGIT stands for Thank God Its Thursday because Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder air Thursday nights. You do not want to miss out on these shows because they will have you begging for more and wondering what is going to happen next.

The promos of Grey’s Anatomy will have you at the edge of your seat. The shocking death of Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) in season 11 left everyone heartbroken and the new promo shows that Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) has been seriously injured after a patient attacked her. What could this mean for Meredith? How will she deal with her situation? No one really knows what could happen next.

The mid-season finale of Scandal left everyone shocked when— spoiler alert— they showed that Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) was resting down on a clinic table to get an abortion. Olivia failed to inform Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn) about the abortion and ended the relationship by saying that they do not belong together. In the new Scandal promo it seems that Olivia Pope and the Gladiators are back, which means they are back in business.

How to Get Away with Murder is a show that makes you think a lot. It will have you guessing who did what. HTGAWM is on its second season and in the beginning of this season Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) was shot. Its shooter was recently revealed and it was shocking; no one saw that one coming. The return of this show will hopefully answer some of the viewer’s questions and explain more about what happened to Annalise.
