If you can learn how to manipulate peoples' emotions, you can make anyone fall in love with you. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, but the laws of attraction are governed by far more than an individual's physical traits. Science has proven that chemosignals, body language, and the use of emotional manipulation play the largest roles in the art of seduction. Here are the top three serial killers who mastered these strategies.

1.Richard Ramirez (A.K.A. Night Stalker)

Ramirez had targeted and killed 13 people by the age of 29. His charges also included 5 attempted murders, 11 sexual assaults, and 14 burglaries. Despite all of these heinous crimes, Ramirez received over 75 passionate love letters from one (of many) admirers, and she eventually married him. In August of 1985, Richard Ramirez was caught, beaten, and taken into custody by California natives and law enforcement. While incarcerated, Ramirez and Doreen Lioy were legally wed on October 3, 1996 (Prachi, 2015).

While being interviewed, Richard Ramirez was asked this question,

After smiling and coldly staring at his interviewer, Richard monotonously replied,

"We are all evil in some form or another…"

Ramirez' cold, dark eyes never seemed to blink as his devious mind churned with thoughts of different ways to answer each pointed question. Ramirez went on to arrogantly nod and laugh with every turn of the conversation. His psychotic, thoughtful mannerisms pointed to a deeper knowledge of human naivety. One of Ramirez' victims commented on his seductive actions, saying,

"He took my girlfriend…"

A female juror who had found Ramirez guilty in Los Angeles—along with dozens of other female spectators—flocked to the San Francisco facility where Ramirez was being held. The women were competing to gain Richard's affection. Ramirez solidified his reputation as a charming, indifferent criminal by commenting on the crowd of swooning admirers:

"I have friends…They are open-minded people."

This comment alone piqued shocking levels of interest from attention-seeking women across the nation (Iam, 2010).

2. Vera Renczi

Vera Renczi began her career of manipulating men at a very early age. When she was still in her early teens, she developed a habit of running away with much older lovers, until she married her first husband, Karl Schick. After his alleged disappearance, Renczi went on to marry again, eventually losing her second husband to a car accident (Moncreiff, 2015).

Author Michael Kelleher described Vera Renczi this way,

"…a pretty girl but a wild girl, who ended up being…one heck of an efficient serial killer…"

In the 1920s, Vera Renczi began to regularly entice and dispose of every one of her lovers. She reportedly killed 35 individuals—including her son—with the earliest reports of her whereabouts being publicized in 1925.

Michael Kelleher exposes the nature of Renczi's manipulation, saying,

"She allures. She draws this male in—and this wouldn't be happenstance—this male would be selected by her. And she would use her allure—her…beauty, her money, her sophistication, to draw him in" ("Vera Renczi Documentary," 2016).

Speculated to be the most enticing aspect of Vera's personality was her unyielding "loyalty." Her murderous habits ironically resulted from the very thing Vera's lovers considered endearing—her desire to be with them for eternity.

"She would be conveying to him that he would never leave her…ever" (Vera Renczi Documentary," 2016).

3.Ted Bundy

"A person of this type chooses his victim for a reason. Possession. Control. Violence" ("Conversations with a Killer," 2019).

These are the very words that Ted Bundy uttered while initiating his first confession tape. The depth of his schemes was portrayed in those few sentences. Shockingly, science has confirmed that women are drawn to men who exhibit possessive, controlling, and violent behaviors. Because women are (biologically) strongly intuitive, they are often sensitive to men who exhibit possessive and controlling characteristics. However, it's easy to disregard the possibility of darker intentions. Therefore, most women take these attitudes at face-value and assume that the men are simply overly-protective.

Most women are attracted to dark, angry, brooding men. Dominance is also a large source of attraction, according to many studies. Scientists have found that the draw of a dominant male is strongly tied to a woman's desire for protection, especially when she struggles with anxiety or boredom susceptibility (Seidman, 2015). At their core, dominant traits are not inherently bad. However, human nature and evil influences often twist these characteristics, causing dominance to become associated with jealousy and controlling tendencies. Ted Bundy manipulated women's perceptions of him by allowing them to see the positive sides of his achievement-oriented, authoritative personality. Like Ramirez, Ted Bundy even married one of his former friends after she testified on his behalf during his Florida trial ("What Happened to Ted Bundy's Wife and Daughter?", 2019).

Ladies (and guys), next time you're attracted to someone, remember that they're probably a manipulative psychopath.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
