At some point in our lives, we've all said that we want to travel the world, especially when we continuously find amazing new places as we get older. We make it a goal of ours that we want to go and explore the whole world, and of course, our bucket list. Having some solo time is great. It's a time to find yourself and see the things that you enjoy when you're alone.
But there are some times where we see certain things and think of a certain person. Or when we're somewhere and we imagine ourselves to be with maybe one or two other people who would enjoy the place that you're at. Who could this be? Well, forget your family for one second. Forget your significant other for another second. Who else can you travel the world with? Your best friend!!
I'm sure you've discussed the places you guys want to go to. Now it's time to take initiative to actually go and travel together! Why?
Well..
1. You both basically have the same idea about what you want to do, whether it's doing something super fun or you just want a day where you're doing nothing, but still relaxing. You guys are both spontaenous together, so what more is better than being spontaneous on a trip to explore?
2. Just because you two have the same ideas doesn't mean you have to do everything together. Obviously, we all have differences in what we like. You can go enjoy something that you love to do, meanwhile he/she can go do something that he/she loves to do. Just knowing that you both are happy and enjoying the same place is a plus.
3. Add your best friend to your sibling collection. We know how small hotel rooms can be. We know how crowded things can get, and you'll probably end up sharing the same room with your best friend. Well, I guess that's a plus because you're basically living with him/her. I guess it's time your best friend turn into your sibling!!
4. You guys know what each other's pet peeves are, so you know exactly what each other needs. We all know our best friend's temperament. We know what gets them annoyed. We know that if he/she starts getting moody, it's most likely that he/she is starving. And better yet, we know how to fix all this.
5. No phones!! I mean, you're best friend is right next to you. So why do you need a phone? It should be so dead considering the fact that the only person who texts you is with you 24/7 now..
6. It's a time to get to know your best friend even better. We all think we know each other so well, and no doubt, we probably do. But now you will know your best friend on a bigger level. You can see how he/she is when he/she travels and finds new places. You can see how they react. Their amazed looks on their face can easily brighten up your day.
7. Who needs picture perfect when you have the most important eyes to capture it all. Are you the type of person to have to take pictures of every little moment because you just want to save that moment? Maybe it's that beautiful view in front of you that you just want to keep forever. Not only that, you want to remember that exact moment - including the breeze and sun against your skin. Who needs a picture, when you can look beside you and see your best friend who can capture the moment with you?
8. You'll realize how much more your best friend(s) means to you. Your best friend is more than someone who knows everything that you've been through. Your best friend is more than the person who has been there to pick you up when you needed it most. This person is now someone who has opened a new door for you and will continue to walk that door with you.
9. You are great. Your best friend is great. You guys are great together. You guys have your own distinct qualities and personalities. Your weakness is his/her strength. You guys know how one another works and learn to fill in each other's gap. Together, you two are inevitable and a fun time.
10. The endless stories of how the best friends conquered the world together. The best stories are the ones that you can look back on and laugh as if it was the first time it happened. You look back and see all the crazy things you guys somehow survived doing, and then you look at your present and see how thankful you are to share these stories with each other. It's a neverending stories of how the best friends continues to open new doors and conquer this world together.
