Hit television series Gossip Girl's character, Blair Waldorf, is without a doubt a role model to many. The amount of confidence and self-worth that Blair possesses is inspiring. By countless events of binge watching Gossip Girl, and being provided with the "one and only source into the scandalous lives of Manhattan's elite," we have learned why Blair Waldorf is such the inspiration she is.

Here are a few reasons why we should all be more like Blair Waldorf:

1. She goes after what she wants.

If Blair wants something, she will do anything to get it. She sets goals for herself that are completely out of reach and never gives up along the way. Blair sets an example for all of us by teaching us to shoot for the stars rather than staying grounded.

2. She doesn't care about what others think of her.

Blair sets herself an image and she doesn't care what other people think of it. Blair has so much confidence in herself that it is overwhelming. She asserts her dominance. She's "Queen B". She's Blair Waldorf.

3. She will do anything for her friends.

Blair wants the best for her friends, for her sisters. Yes, of course at times Blair does put herself before others, but in the end, no one messes with her friends.

4. She is independent.

When things go wrong, Blair never fails to maintain her confidence. She doesn't let anyone into her life that is toxic and underestimates her.

5. She doesn't need a man to make herself happy.

Blair is an independent woman, that's all there is to it.

Blair has one goal and one goal only, to make herself the best woman she could ever be. She wants to be proud of herself.

8. She has the perfect amount of sass and class.

Blair's sassiness and classiness are definitely examples of her strongest qualities. It's what makes Blair Waldorf, Blair Waldorf.

Nothing stops Blair from being absolutely, brutally honest. She is not afraid to be herself, and no one will ever stop her from being that way.

Blair gives the absolute best advice. She never fails to achieve her goals, never fails to do what is truly best for herself, and exhibits endless amounts of self-love. No one gets in the way of Blair Waldorf.

So despite all of the scheming and revenge, Blair does have many qualities that we should all consider adapting. She is not afraid to show the world what an amazing person she is. Despite how much we all envy the unrealistic life style that "Manhattan's elite" has, we can definitely learn something from her. Blair Waldorf is truly an inspiration.
