School. The six-letter word that carries so much dread. Unfortunately for some people, summer flies by way too quickly and before you know it, you're back where the universe wants you; sitting in an uncomfortable plastic chair with a table that doesn't even fit your binder. But for others, the first day of school is something they look forward to all summer. Here are some telltale signs that you just might be one of them.

1. You see back to school sales. IN JULY. And yet, you can't wait to go back to school shopping.

When your friends are complaining but you know you can't wait to run to Staples.

2. You've gone shopping for clothes so many times you can't wait to wear them at school.

Now you need a new closet too.

3. When your YouTube history consists of "DIY Back to School tricks" and "2016 School Makeup" videos.

Literally nothing else.

4. You're so sick of waking up to find more bug bites in weird places.

5. You're so sick of your siblings.

When you see them so often, everything they do bothers you.

6. There's only one more season left of your favorite show, and you're running out of things to watch.

Oh god you're on your last season of Friends?!?!

7. You have your new backpack picked out... already stocked with notebooks and pencils.

Five star binders. Check. New plastic folders. Check. Fresh notebooks. *opens and sniffs* Check.

8.You can't wait to see your best friend, who was gone on vacation all summer.

And you can''t wait for more silly adventures together.

9.You wonder what your teachers and classes are like.

"School is going to be so fun this year!"

10.You've thought about your Halloween costume...

...And maybe already have it picked out?

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
