On Friday, July 24, Smash Mouth tweeted this out, as obvious shade towards Taylor Swift and her newest album, "folklore."

This tweet was an obvious play-on-words switching the word "folk" with the word "bore."

Listen, Smash Mouth, we understand that the album is a softer, toned-down album with no hyped-up pop songs, but who are you to comment on it? Did your parents not teach you that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything?

Smash Mouth is a one-hit-wonder band, known for their ONE hit "All Star." Their song is known because of a movie that came out almost 20 years ago about an ogre (don't get me wrong, I love "Shrek"). Taylor Swift, on the other hand, has how many hit singles? A lot. If you need proof, here is a list of all of her achievements during her 13 years of making music.

She is known for more than just ONE song. You know..."You Belong With Me," "Love Story," "Shake It Off," "I Knew You Were Trouble," "Delicate," "Look What You Made Me Do," "Wildest Dreams, Lover," "You Need To Calm Down," must I continue?

Back to "folklore." Taylor is known for experimenting with different sounds when it comes to her albums. She literally switched genres with her "1989" album. And guess what?! She killed it. Now that she's experimenting with a new sound, you don't have to comment that the album is "boring." The album is NOT boring at all, I can confirm personally. It's you versus millions of fans here.

One big name in particular that spoke out about this obvious shady tweet from Smash Mouth was Dylan O'Brien, proving that he is a Swiftie.

Dylan did NOT hold back and just said what he was thinking straight up. And TRUST ME, he wasn't the only one thinking that after seeing the tweet from Smash Mouth.

What did Smash Mouth do during quarantine? Did they write an entire album, record it, produce a music video, and more? I mean, do they even have an album? I don't even know the answer to that.

They're irrelevant, they've always been irrelevant, and they will continue to stay irrelevant. Enough said.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
