You MUST Add Tampa To Your Travel Bucket List

When choosing where to vacation, most people choose, Miami or Orlando, but never Tampa. Why, though? Tampa is like an onion. It has layers of adventures and events, that you will never get bored doing. While living in Tampa, I never appreciated all the beauty it had to offer, but now, I see that this is a place where you will always find something new to get into.

Sure, you can relax at the beach, with your feet beneath the warm sand. Shades to block away the haters and of course, the sun, but do you ever want to feel that adrenaline rush, the force of you trying to stay back in your seat? Well, here are some of my favorite amusement parks, that will definitely have your blood rushing.

1. Busch Gardens

Busch Garden

This is a African themed amusement park, that has over ten thrilling rides, including some water rides, to cool you down after 10 minutes of walking. You will be able shoot some hoops, win a beautiful stuffed animal, and enjoy live entertainment. Last but surely not least, you and your family will see some of the most breath taking animals, you have ever seen.

2. Adventure Island

Adventure Island

Boys and girls, now this amusement park is for any one that is all about water. Every where you turn you will find a ride for you. This is a place to also show off that new bathing suit in your summer body. Okkurr!! While waiting for your ride you can enjoy some nice cold, ice cream dots or flow down the lazy river. What ever you do, just make sure you have sunscreen on deck.

3. Grand Prix

Tampa Grand Prix

This is the spot for any family, trying to see who will win first place. They have miniature golf, family race track and plenty of more to keep you occupied. If you are that competing family, you can see who will chug down a large Coke without ice, at the Pit Stop Cafe. After your day at this park, if you enjoyed it, just as much as i did, you can have your birthday party here. More competition!!

Now that you had your adventure for the day, it is time to take your stroll through the city, that never sleeps. Ybor City, is probably the most florescence cities in the nation, that will take you by surprise. From the beautiful artifacts to the remarkable, stunning individuals.

You can shop until you drop at some of the stores located along the strip, like the Ybor City wine bar, one of the many clothing stores here and for you people, that enjoy a nice cigar, they got that too. If you are feeling more entertainment and a little more food, Hamburger Mary's got you.

This is just half of the adventures you will partake in while visiting Tampa, Fl. If you want to explore more, you will just have to take a trip up there. Oh and you don't forget to snap pictures, especially in Ybor City at night!!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
