It's only been a few weeks since spring semester wrapped up, and some of us are already feeling lonely. When you're in your hometown all alone, how do keep yourself from slowly wasting away until fall rolls around?
Read a book. Just because school isn't in session doesn't mean you can't EDUCATE YO-SELF. Keep your mind busy, save your eyes from your laptop screen, and forget to feel lonely!
Explore your city like a tourist. You might discover something that you didn't even know existed, right under your nose. You'd be surprised how many secret thinking spots around your city and hidden gems you'll find in your local flea markets. Visit your local museums, take a long drive, and take a new perspective on your city.
Watch every season of Fixer Upper on Netflix. Chilling with Chip and Joanna makes you feel a tiny bit less lonely. Plus, they have like two seasons on Netflix, so you're pretty much set for at least 24 hours.
Try your hand at a new hobby. Maybe woodworking isn't for you, but you can become a mini master chef, or even learn a new language, in just a few months! Learn something useful.
Eat some carbs. You can pretend you want a bikini body, but honestly, what's better than a large french fry with a side of more french fries? Forget your New Year's Resolution and just eat your feelings until fall semester.
