Recently, Donald Trump hit the jackpot on one of the major issues that was facing the election of 2016. One of the major justices passed away, and there has been significant concern and speculation regarding who would substitute his place. Fortunately, Trump's list of potential Supreme Court justice candidates shook the world by a landscape. Americans were deeply surprised because of the quality of justices that the list represented. He was expected to have perhaps personal assistants or people whose principles are contrary to those of the Republican party. The nominated candidates for the future justice represent the kind of values that he shares as an American president, or even a citizen of this country. He defended many of the principles of Republicans, and has recently gained a lot of respect from the members of his own party.

On the other hand, Hillary Clinton attacked Trump's list and stated why the list will hurt and attack several issues that American citizens have been extremely passionate about over the last decade. She gives a plethora of reasons as to why his list is absurd, and how it will pollute America.

Regardless of what Clinton may think, this Supreme Court list reveals that there is some intelligence in Donald Trump. He is trying to appoint justices that share values that can shape America, and he is trying to do it the right way. I hope...

Unfortunately, major polls show us that both candidates are extremely unpopular. More than two-thirds of registered voters believe that Clinton and Trump are extremely unpopular, according to the Business Standard. It seems as if people have lost the interest in politics, or the desire to see a face that can help change the landscape of this world. Also, the majority of people believe that both candidates are untrustworthy, and that they are in the race for money, fame, recognition, or just for personal gain. They are not in it for America, but rather, they are in it for a business gain, or to cement their place in history. If you look at Trump, there is still great speculations that have arisen, as well as controversies against him. If you look at Clinton, you will see the same pattern. They have been deemed as not only unpopular, but unfaithful, disloyal, and only boastful and proud. Anyone that thinks or believes that either of these candidates can bring change to America, they are sadly mistaken. But that is just my opinion.

What is our only option? Our only option is to hope for a major change to take place in America. Our only option is to pray that God will touch and shake this nation, and to touch the leaders that are currently running for president. Let us stand firm and deny to compromise our values, and believe that things can change for this country for the better and not for the worst.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
