Summer is always the best time for everyone. Its a time for relaxing, vacation time, summer concerts, etc etc. But for us college students there is something magical about summertime. It's a time that we can just relax and enjoy our time.

I love the summertime because it for me is a reminder of how hard I work throughout the school year and now I can enjoy my time. But during the last summer before "real" life starts, I realized that hard work is something I love more than anything. So sure everyone spent the summer drinking and having a blast. Not that I didn't have a blast, but it was spread out fun time. I had time to spend with my new puppy and 21st birthday celebrations alongside working 5 days a week and loving it. I love being busy for the summer. Sure it would be great to sit around all day, but I think it will just get boring after a while.

This summer I got to experience a little bit of travel and I got to learn a lot about myself and that was definitely a fun experience for myself.

My job is like no other its fun, and the people make it the best. We have all different personalities and its what makes things a little bit better. But I also like being able to challenge myself, even in the summer its nice to keep my mind going. I like dealing with different situations its good to be able to bring that to a future career one day.

But aside from that my friends from home make things easily a great summer. We have crazy personalities and everything is like one big adventure. I love being able to come home to my best friends after spending almost the whole year apart. Don't get me wrong I love my friends at school and they are going to be lifelong friends I know it. But there is something about friends from home that is so different. You have this group of friends that have known you since you were 5 years old and they are always the ones that have been there when you need them.

My family is always my favorite thing, we have barbecues and its always nice to catch up. They are the people that are always there for you and family will always be one of them. For that coming home to them after a long hard year is the greatest gift in the world. My family always makes things so much fun weather we have play dates for the dogs or we celebrate the fourth of July together. With my family there is never a dull moment. There is always something fun going on. We always have the best laughs together.

So summer has the heat, the beach and relaxation but also the things like friends and family to make things so much better.
