Classes are done, bags have been packed and you're finally home for the next four months. You've been looking forward to summer and all its sunshine since the first snowfall in which you had to walk to class. It's definitely an adjustment from dorm life and your typically busy schedule, so here are a few things you should expect.
1. You don't get to see your college friends every day.
When you're bored, you can't just walk down the hall and bang on someone's dorm.
2. You can eat real food.
And what college student doesn't want to stuff their face with a home-cooked meal after a semester of campus food?
3. You get to make money.

4. You don't have to see any people you hate.
That annoying girl down the hall who vacuums at 2 a.m.? Gone.
5. No more anxiety.
You can say goodbye to the all-nighters in the library to score an A on your next test.
6. You can spend your time doing all the things you put off during the semester.
Like binge watching Netflix and painting your nails.
7. You finally get to sleep in.
Finally, you won't miss class if you decide to sleep until 2 in the afternoon, and napping at all hours of the day is acceptable.
8. You don't have to wear real clothes.
Pack your jeans away and pull out the bathing suits.
9. You don't really know what to do with all your free time.
I mean without classes, homework, tests, friends and your insanely busy schedule, what do you actually do all day?
10. You're back under your parents' rules.
...Which means curfew, doing the dishes and keeping your room clean. And yes, there are actually punishments if you don't clean up the mess you made trying to cook breakfast.
11. And finally, you get to enjoy your time off.
So take time to appreciate the lack of classes, no stress and sunshine-filled days before school starts up and you have to dive back into the real world.
