With the summer finally here, there are a few things we should all try to do before the next school year comes along. Here's a fantastic bucket list to try!
1. Go on a road trip!
Yes, yes, yes! Take a road trip; either going to visit a friend or go with a friend, road trips are a must. This is your chance to see different places and create memories that will truly last a lifetime. You only live once, right? might as well see everything! Even if it's in the same county, or in the same state, you can still find places you've never seen before.
2. Go to as many concerts as humanly possible!
Oh yeah baby! Concerts can only be described as your favorite album being performed to you in person. So why not see as many concerts as you can? Its a pure adrenaline rush, just full of excitement and amazing energy. It's the perfect way to spend a lot of your summer days and nights.
3. Make Tie-Dye everything!
When you see tie-dye, what's the first thing you think of? SUMMER! This is one of the few things that once you see it, you know it's summer. There are no limits to what you can tie-dye! You can tie-dye; shirts, sweatshirts, bathing suits, pillow cases, blankets, tapestry, and so much more. Summer just screams tie-dye season!
4. Try something new!
Just like the photo says, outside your comfort zone is where the magic happens. You'll be amazed how many activities or places you will love. Depending on the kind person you are, the places you may go may be 20 miles away or 5,000 miles; the activities might be going on a small road trip or jumping out of an airplane. This is your chance to discover anything and everything that you wouldn't normally do, due to school or work.
5. Basically live at the beach.
You read that correctly, this is the best time to practically live at the beach, all day, everyday. This is the perfect place to relax and catch some rays, get that gorgeous summer tan that everyone wants more than life itself. Plus, the beach is the best place to get amazing photos.
6. Go on a hike.
Hikes are the best way to not only get a workout into your day, but also get a chance to go outdoors and see nature at it's finest. Hiking will be you're new favorite activity, next to binge watching shows on Netflix. This activity even come in three stages; simple, medium, and challenging! So there is no excuse to not hike at least once this summer.
7. Summer bracelets!
Do I need to say anymore? Make bracelets, buy bracelets, receive and give bracelets! It's the season to build a beautiful array of bracelets on your arm!
8. Bonfires!
Have a bonfire once a month, once a week, maybe even everyday! Bonfires are the perfect excuse to get a group of friends together and talk about anything and everything you can think of!
9. Go night swimming.
Love swimming? wait until you swim in the dark! You're life will change, and for the better. There are literally no words to describe the pure bliss of swimming at night.
10. Start a journal and document each moment.
This is one of the most important things you can do. In an age where we post pictures of our everyday lives, we should want the chance to write down what happens. Yes, write with a pen or a pencil, not on your phone or computer. The best part about this, is you can keep these journals forever and remember every memory you write down. Even when you're old and losing your memory, you can find the journal and re-read it and get a chance to visit all the amazing memories you create when you're younger.
