With festival season and formal coming up, it's important to find that perfect outfit that you won't see on anyone else. If it's your special night, and I'm sure you want to stand out! Instead of being frustrated by your local mall, grab a glass of wine and simply open your laptop!

Australian boutiques are trending for college women in America, or at least they should be. Australia is ahead of the curve in trends, and has some of the most gorgeous models that make clothes look even more beautiful. You may not look like them, but the styles are so too cute not to love! Even if you don't have the guts (or funds) to actually buy, it's always fun to virtual window shop! The best part is converting the prices to USD, and feeling less bad about putting in that credit card info! ;)

1. Tiger Mist

Tiger Mist has a unique, trendy look. They offer tons of bodycon dresses and skirts that are anything but boring, and would certainly make you stand out!

2. Hello Molly

Hello, Molly has some gorgeous, unique designs with a classy Instagram to boot. I've ordered one dress from them, and was pleasantly impressed by the quality of the material, and how great I felt in it!

3. Mura Boutique

Mura has some great rompers ("playsuits") and dresses that would be perfect for standing out at Sunday brunch! For those that prefer a Saturday night out, they also offer nicer club dresses with some interesting and daring necklines!

4. Xenia

Xenia really stands out with its vibrant clothing and patterns to die for!

5. Sabo Skirt

Sabo Skirt has a gorgeous boho collection and is perfect for those beach vibes!

6. Esther Boutique

From sweaters to two-piece sets, Esther Boutique has the latest trends in fashion that will make you want to buy everything they have!

1. Size Up

Unless you look like the model, your best bet would be to size up. Australian sizes tend to run small.

2. Research

If you're hesitant about international ordering, do some research online to see how the clothes look on someone other than the model. I've had luck on Poshmark, or stalking the boutique's social media through their tagged pictures, or hashtags.

3. Don't Stress

If the dress doesn't work out, don't worry! It's pretty easy to send back. Just make sure to give yourself a few weeks before you need the outfit to order, or have a backup handy. When I ordered a dress from HelloMolly, it came a lot faster than I had expected.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
