Success means a lot to a lot of people. It has different meaning to people. I have learnt to accept peoples' definition anyhow they see it. I see success as a lot of things woven into one thing. Success is when you are good at what you do, you feel passion for it and even after you work hard, it is not stress but still enjoyable. Success is when you go to work or school with a big smile on your face because you enjoy it.
Success is not easy at all. It is gotten when you just sit down and wish to be successful. Michelle Robinson Obama sacrificed a lot to be as great as she is today. She had to balance the work of being a career woman, mother and wife and still be the greatest First Lady that America has ever had. She did a lot of things. She had to conquer a lot of obstacles and focus on her goals even though they were many distractions and haters along the way.
Things people my age cannot even attempt doing. She is sophisticated, beautiful and intelligent. She is the most powerful woman in the world.
It is reality that college students love their phones more than lectures, and so realistically achieving what successful people did is not easy in this time and day. It is very difficult for college students to focus and concentrate for one hour in a lecture without chatting on the numerous social media accounts.
The First Lady of the United States is an amazing woman with amazing skills. She is a great woman on the inside and the outside.
I am sure her college career did not involve addictive texting and parties. Probably right to say a lot of hours in the library studying and 100 percent focus on the classroom. I believe so much in the focus that Michelle Obama had while in college, and I wish I had that focus. I wish I could be like her and focus on what is important and relevant in life, and I’m doing that. I am working hard to be like her. I have learned that life would be full of distractions, but the important thing is to differentiate what is important and unimportant. I am starting to know what makes a person successful is not stress and being busy. It is focusing on health, productivity, wellness and happiness. I have sacrificed my happiness because of success, and I have gotten depressed and overwhelmed. I am focusing on being alone and striving for being the best version of me possible.
I used to feel that success was the same for everyone. I thought it was money and fame that made people happy. I thought it meant the same for everyone. I then realized that I had to start defining my own success for me. I then defined my own success as just being happy, content, strong, healthy and productive. I decided that I would spend the rest of my life being happy and not focus on what others say or think of me. I would focus on my own health, my own world and my own life. I also know that having goals can help me define my own success. It does not matter how many times I may not have achieved my goals. The most important thing is to feel accomplished and learn my lessons.
The characteristics of success include focus, passion, hard work, goals, positive mindset, time management and a healthy lifestyle.I believe in myself so much that no one can deter me from my goals. I did not always have goals or ambition. I was not always a goal driven person, but life taught me to focus on my goals when I realized I had greatness inside of me. I realized talent was inside me and I could not waste it. I am committed to being a stronger, wiser, better and more focused version of myself.
The conclusion is to say that success was never meant to be easy but very worth it in the end. To be successful, it takes a lot of hard work and not giving up. Great people become great by committing their time to it. Cheers to the successful people. By the way, just being in college is success in itself.
