In the current era of technology, many students are turning to online resources to help them study more effectively. One popular trend that has emerged in recent years is the use of "Study With Me" videos on platforms like YouTube. These videos involve someone sharing themselves studying or working, often in real-time, resulting in Study With Me videos or live streams that are sometimes hours long.

The concept of Study With Me videos is simple yet effective. The idea is to provide a sense of companionship and motivation for students who may be struggling with their studies. Many students feel isolated and alone when studying, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic where public spaces such as libraries and coffee shops are closed or operating with limited capacity. Study With Me videos provide a sense of community and a virtual study environment that can help students stay motivated and focused on their work.

One of the key benefits of Study With Me videos is that they utilize the Pomodoro Method, which encourages viewers to follow the video creator in real-time during their intervals of productive work and breaks. The Pomodoro Method is a time management technique that involves breaking down work into short intervals, typically 25 minutes of work followed by a short break. This method has been proven to be effective in increasing productivity and reducing procrastination. By following the video creator's schedule, viewers can learn how to effectively manage their time and stay on task.

Another benefit of online Study room is that they provide a glimpse into the study habits of successful students. Many of these videos feature students who have achieved high grades or have been accepted into prestigious universities. By watching these videos, viewers can learn from the strategies and techniques used by these successful students, which can help them improve their own study habits.

In conclusion, Study With Me live videos are a valuable resource for students who are looking for motivation and guidance in their studies. They provide a sense of community, mimic a library or a study session with a friend at a coffee shop and utilize the Pomodoro Method to increase productivity. Additionally, they give an insight into the study habits of successful students, which can help viewers improve their own study habits. So, if you are feeling isolated and unmotivated in your studies, consider tuning in to a Study With Me video for a change of pace.

In case you're unaware, "resting bitch face" is the term used to describe when a person's natural, expressionless face makes it look like they are mad at the world. At the tender age of 18, we are bestowed with the title of “adult.” For 17 years, we live under the rules and guidelines of our parents, school, and government, and to stray from any of those rules or guidelines marks us as a rebel. At 18, though, we must choose which college we want to go to or what career we want. We are allowed and encouraged to vote. We can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes. We can drop out of school, leave our household, and do other "adult" things. At 18, we start down a path of thinking for ourselves, when for the entirety of our lives other institutions have been mandated to think and do for us.

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.
