You may think that fall semester is the worst, but at least we get a month break when it's over. There may be spring break for second semester, but that's it. Professors are stressing out, students are procrastinating more than ever, all anyone wants to do is go home for the summer. The number of students that will be watching Netflix instead of doing their assignments is at an all time high. Here are the struggles of the second half of spring semester.

1. Spring Break Was a Big Tease

Looking back, that week of not having to do anything was a big tease. It left us with no motivation and a taste of the summer that would soon be here.

2. Literally No Motivation Left

We have paper after paper due, two tests next week, and a project due, but all we can do is think about what we would rather be doing.

3. Netflix Over Anything Else

It's about that time when we'll choose Netflix over anything that relates to school.

4. So Much To Do and So Little Time

It comes to the point where you're not sure if you'll be able to fit it all into one day.

5. You Pray For Class To Get Cancelled

This is the best thing to happen to a college student.

6. Waiting Till The Very Last Minute for Everything

That paper was assigned a month ago, but you're really not surprised that you waited till the last minute to do it.

7. Professors Are Running Out Of Time

Instead of giving us time to actually catch up, they just pile on more assignments like it's nothing.

8. Choosing Classes for Next Fall

The most stressful thing ever. You can spend hours making your schedule and it'll still be wrong.

9. Realizing How Fast This Year Went By

You only have one year left until you enter the real world is the scariest thing ever.

10. Your Textbooks Have Now Found a Permanent Spot In The Corner Of Your Desk

What's that point of all the reading and highlighting if you're not going to actually look at it again?

11. You Rather Eat Anything But School Food

You've had a sandwich every night for dinner for the past week and never want to look at a sandwich ever again.

You're probably stressed more than ever, but you also have no problem laying in bed and watching Netflix all day. We all pretty much rather be doing anything the school work.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
