You all know those super strange "holidays" that people always post about. It's National Best Friend Day? Oops, better make a collage on Instagram so my friends still love me. It's National Hot Fudge Day? I need a sundae, pronto. Here's a list of some noteworthy holidays in June that you should be on the lookout for. Don't be the person who misses out on all of the cool "holidays."

1. June 3: National Doughnut Day

As if you needed a specific day to celebrate how delicious doughnuts are. Go buy yourself a dozen Krispy Kremes and enjoy them by the pool. But don't be like Ariana Grande and get busted for licking all of the donuts.

2. June 4: Hug Your Cat Day

Again, as if you really need a specific day to celebrate this one. Hug your cat, even though he or she will try to escape, hug them. Then do the Lion King thing with them, just because.

3. June 6: National Yo-Yo Day

That's right. Break out that yo-yo that you have sitting in the back of your closet from fifth grade. Hopefully, you still know all of those sweet yo-yo tricks.

4. June 7: National Chocolate Ice Cream Day

Get the large cone. With sprinkles. Rainbow sprinkles. You deserve it.

5. June 10: Iced Tea Day

Make some sun tea! It'll be delicious, and make for a great Snapchat story. So artsy.

6. June 11: National Corn on the Cob Day

I know corn on the cob can be a little messy, but this day is your day to double fist ears of corn and no one can judge you!

7. June 13: Sewing Machine Day

Ever wanted to be on "Project Runway?" This is your chance! Keep Tim Gunn's voice saying, "Designers, make it work" in the back of your mind for inspiration.

8. June 16: Fresh Veggies Day

Summer is the best time to eat lots of fruits and veggies! It's also the best time to eat ice cream and s'mores and hot dogs, oh my. Fortunately, fresh veggies will erase that large ice cream cone from June 7. Trust me, I'm an expert.

9. June 18: International Panic Day

June 18 has many celebrations, but this first one is really important. Big project at work? Can't find a job? Not sure what you want to do with your life or where you want to live when you graduate college in less than a year? Today's your day to panic!

10. Also June 18: International Picnic Day

Picnic and panic have a lot of the same letters. Don't let this confuse you. They are separate events. Panic first, picnic later.

11. Also June 18: International Sushi Day

After your panic and your picnic, hit up a sushi place. You deserve it. You've had a very long day.

12. Also June 18: National Splurge Day

Personally, I don't need a specific day to do this because it happens every day.

13. June 19: National Kissing Day

Celebrate this day by kissing everyone and anyone you can! Or just your boyfriend or girlfriend. Or your dog. Or anything.

14. June 21: International Yoga Day

Celebrate the first few days of summer with some yoga! You'll feel good, and, for the first time, you can wear yoga pants while actually doing yoga!

15. June 24: Take Your Dog to Work Day

I'm so happy that this day exists. Please, I encourage you to take every dog possible to work. I don't care if you work on Wall Street or if you work at a McDonald's. You take that puppy to your place of employment. You. Take. It.

16. June 26: Forgiveness Day

I'm not sure what you did, but I know you're sorry, and I have to forgive you today. But remember, forgiveness is more than saying sorry.

17. June 30: Meteor Day

Hopefully a meteor won't come to Earth on this day and kill us all. Though it would be a great way to celebrate Meteor Day ... and end June with a bang.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
