Stay Single Until This Moment

"Relationships should enhance your life, not make things more difficult."

Stay Single Until This Moment

There are a lot of expectations between partners that get posted all over social media, all the time. The “get you a girl/boy who can do both” memes and the hashtags (like #relationshipgoals) are compiled of unrealistic expectations and can leave current partners feeling like they don’t do enough for their significant other, for example.

Stay S I N G L E until you have your life together. A relationship should enhance your life, it shouldn’t make things in your life harder.

Stay single until you meet someone who pushes you towards your dreams.

Stay single until you meet someone you can be yourself around, completely.

Stay single until you meet the one who asks about your day and genuinely cares.

Stay single until you meet the one who splits the bills with you at dinner, or who takes turns with you on who pays.

Stay single until you meet someone who is interested in your heart.

Stay single until you meet the one who prays for you, and prays with you.

Stay single until you meet the one who waits until you get into your apartment or car before they drive off after they drop you off.

Stay single until you meet the one you can ugly cry with, and have no shame.

Stay single until you meet the one who thinks you’re beautiful when you cry, and keeps reminding you of this while they wipe away your tears.

Stay single until you meet the one you can laugh obnoxiously with, and eat fettuccine alfredo with.

Stay single until you meet the one who drives your passion and encourages you.

Stay single until you meet the one who supports you in everything you do.

Stay single until you meet the one who strives to do better in their life, because they want to take care of you.

Stay single until you meet the one who has goals and dreams of their own.

Stay single until you meet someone who will give you honest advice about the top you picked out at your favorite store.

Stay single until you meet the one who you hate to say goodbye to.

Stay single until you meet the one who will do anything to see you smile.

Stay single until you meet the who shares their heart with you (and food).

Stay single until you meet someone who proves themselves to you. Not everyone in this world is who they say they are, or genuine in the way that they may seem.

Guard your heart. Love deeply. Be vulnerable.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
