After watching the first presidential debate last week, I have decided that this upcoming election is the REAL American Horror Story. So, everyone should just start following the election instead of keeping up with AHS season six... After watching an hour and a half of Hillz and Trump go at each other, I really can't decide who is more disliked by the American populous. As the two candidates verbally attacked and berated each other, Lester Holt could barely get a word in edgewise. To be honest, I really felt sorry for the poor guy. It's honestly sad that two successful, professional adults can't even control themselves enough to respect the man mediating their debate. Personally, I fee like this election has turned into a media circus that's only focused on entertaining the public, rather than educating them about important topics and the candidates' political stances. What's even more upsetting about all of this is that this is the first time that a lot of millennials, like myself, will be voting and after watching the debate and other news coverage, most of us don't even want to participate in the election process. It really is a sad state that our union is in.
