Spring break is finally here! It's time to turn up in Cabo or go home to your bed, but either way, both of those activities are fun. As a broke and poor college student, you'll most likely be returning home to your cruddy little hometown so you should make the best of it. The different stages of being home for the week are best told by the queens of drama themselves, the Kardashians!

1. You finally get home

It's time to relax and unwind from all of the midterms, projects and presentations that you've been stressing over for the last week.

2. Time to change into something more comfortable

Comfort is the key to a good spring break. Those pajamas that you accidentally left at home after winter break really have been longing for you to wear them.

3. Food time

Hopefully, your parents have stocked up on all of the best food and groceries that are in the supermarket. You can finally eat food that you didn't have to pay for out of your own pocket.

4. Parents start asking about chores

Since the second that you came back from school, they are already asking for you to help out around the house. It is so annoying but then again they did pay for all of the food that you just ate.

5. Your friends from home finally text

Time to see the group of friends that you grew up with. Although you've texted and FaceTimed, nothing feels as good as hanging out with them again.

6. The morning after you hang out with your friends

How much did we drink last night? Having to go home to your parents feeling sick from the night before is different from going back to your dorm.

7. Your friends from school start to text you

This is the saddest part of spring break because you start to miss being away from school. Friends from school start to become your family away from home, so missing your family only comes naturally.

8. You start getting bored

You've binge watched every episode of "Pretty Little Liars" that you missed while living in a tiny dorm, you've hung out with your friends and you've eating everything in the fridge. What else is there to do?

9. You remember the homework that is due

You log onto D2L, Blackboard, Moodle, etc. to realize that you had homework! Time to finish that quickly before it's due.

10. Time to go back

Thank goodness the day is finally here! It feels like you spent all of eternity waiting to be let back in the dorms. Welcome to the second half of the semester.

Christmas traditions

The Holidays are a time for being with friends and family and celebrating the birth of Christ, but sometimes we forget to acknowledge the other religions and what they celebrate.
