It’s almost Spring time again, which calls for Spring Cleaning, and what comes after that but new clothes, EEK! Well, hopefully that’s how it will work out … regardless, I’ve found the biggest trends you should invest in. Luckily, you may already have some of them in your closet from years past.
All White Sneakers
Sneakers have definitely made a comeback in the fashion world, but newest to the sneaker craze are all white sneakers. Think high top Vans, Adidas low tops, and Converse. Converse have definitely been back in style for a few years now, but if you’re tired of them already, go for the white Nike Rosche runs.
70s influences
The 70s was ALL over the runways during 2014 Fashion Week, so clearly, it’s going to be huge for spring and the rest of the year. The biggest styles within the 70’s trend are flared jeans and button up tops paired together. I’ve already hoped on the flared jeans bandwagon, and I suggest you do the same.
Choker Necklaces
This jewelry statement piece is HUGE right now, especially in the thin, gold variety. I love paring my gold choker with a round neck top, tucked in for a 9’s chic vibe.
Minimalist Styling
Minimalism, or norm core, is still going to be huge for spring. All white outfits can make a huge statement, or all white with pops of black. For norm core styling inspiration, follow @alwaysjudging and @weworewhat on Insta, they have THE BEST style.
Pattern Mixing
Florals are great to mix with other patterns. Groundbreaking, right? Florals will ALWAYS be a thing during spring, but mixed with stripes or the right pattern, they can be so modern. Mixing patterns often seems to be impossible or too hard, but it’s really all about getting the right colors to match. The best way to mix colors is making sure they have at least 3 similar colors, and either mix a big pattern on top with a small pattern on bottom or make sure they’re the same size all over.
