I know I'm not the only one figuratively drowning in classwork, stress and agony during these final weeks of the semester. With Thanksgiving Break around the corner and the last day of the semester just a few weeks away, I am crumbling to pieces. The excessive workload is really getting to me and I am up to my ears in projects and papers. How am I even going to have time to study for finals after all of this?! Ah, the struggles of being a hardworking, dedicated college student. Honestly, I feel like Spongebob Squarepants. I feel like I am never ever going to get through this semester, just like how he never finishes boating school. Here is how the cast of Spongegbob would be handling the dreadful last weeks of the semester:
1. When Professors Give an Unnecessary Amount of Classwork
It's honestly as if these professors don't realize how much other work we have in the rest of our classes too! Three papers in one class, a research project in the other, and a billion other things to do in the rest of your classes!
2. When Professors Say The Test Is Going To Be Easy
Ever go into a test feeling super confident, only to realize that what the professor said is a lie? That test wasn't easy, it was more difficult than fighting an Alaskan Bull Worm, am I right?
3. Studying For a Test and You Have No Prior Knowledge of the Material
This sounds like a lot of HOOPLA to me!
4. When All Your Friends Seem To Be Handling the Semester So Well and They Rub Their Beautiful Stress-free Lives in Your Face
Do not tell me to relax. I don't have time!
5. When Your Professor is Less Than Satisfied with Your Project

6. The Papers
Page minimums will probably be the sole reason for my demise.
7. Lack of Sleep
Lying awake in the middle of the night because you have so much on your mind, whether it be project due dates and deadlines, homework, finals, remembering to breathe...
8. Desperately Trying to Finish the Semester but You Have No More Willpower or Strength to Continue
You're almost there! Hang in there, friends.
