I have some amazing news for all of you '90s kids out there! There is going to be a block on Nickelodeon specifically for all the old TV shows that we used to love! I can't begin to tell you how amazing this will be! All of the greats back on TV like "Hey Arnold!," "Rugrats," "Catdog," "The Wild Thornberry's," "Ahhh! Real Monsters" and so many more! It will be like you are back sitting on your living room floor with your cereal bowl watching the morning cartoons. I, for one, can guarantee that I will probably be doing the same thing! Here is the teaser trailer for the block coming soon!

Here are some of my old favorites that I really hope they show all of the old episodes too because Netflix is failing to help me with my nostalgia.

Rugrats!

I absolutely loved watching all of the shenanigans that these babies would get themselves into. I would be captivated every time these babies would come onto my television screen. They were just so good at making their parents lives more difficult and I may have learned a few tricks from them. They were also so cute and the show taught a lot of lessons. If you haven't seen this show you really should go look some up. They are the best! Not to mention the many movies that were made with these crazy babies!

The Wild Thornberrys

This show was also so great! It had a little girl, Elisa, going on these great adventures to help save animals that were in trouble in one way or another. She would also drag along her good friend Darwin, the monkey, on the adventures with her. Darwin almost always would have rather stayed at camp, but he usually ends up having fun (even if his excitement is held deep within). The other great things about the two shows that I have mentioned already is that they had a mashup movie! It was the greatest movie in my young childhood. It was called "Rugrats Go Wild!," and it was amazing. If you were going to see it in theaters, you would have had to go to Burger King beforehand and order a meal to get a scratch and sniff paper that would correspond with parts of the movie! It was the coolest thing I think I have still seen a movie do.

Hey Arnold!

This was another amazing show that never should have stopped airing. The lives of a bunch of young kids that all go to the same school and are in the same class. They go through struggles and laughs and all the fun that a bunch of little kids can have. Not to mention the crazy grandparents that Arnold lives with. They are probably my favorite part of the show altogether. This show also teaches a lot of lessons that are really great to live by. As well as all of the other shows, this one also had a movie that was so amazing. I mean it, you guys are missing out if you didn't watch the movies of all of these old TV shows they were classics.

There are a bunch of other amazing TV shows that were aired on Nickelodeon back in the day, but these three were definitely the ones that I loved the most! Be sure to keep an eye out of the Splat! TV block coming soon!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
