Spending Valentine's Day With An Emotionless Girl

Mushy gooey icky romance.

Spending Valentine's Day With An Emotionless Girl

It's not easy being with a girl who has little to no emotions. I can almost guarantee you that Valentine's Day is this girls least favorite holiday. With all the love and hearts and pink and mushy grossness she just wants to stay at home on the couch and binge watch her newest Netflix show.

First and foremost DO NOT expect anything special. Just trust me, don't get your hopes up. She's not just pretending to hate Valentine's Day just so she can surprise you with something romantic, she really just wants to sit on the couch.

Just because she hates the day doesn't mean she doesn't care about you. I know it's weird not to spoil your girl on Valentine's Day but she doesn't want it. She's not being ungrateful or trying to make you feel unwanted she just doesn't like having to express her emotions. Especially when she feels like she's being forced to show them. By you just hanging out for the day doing absolutely nothing special is more than enough for her, the fact that you can respect how much she hates Valentine's Day is the nicest thing you could have done for her that day.

DO NOT make her feel bad for hating this day. It's who she is, she's not doing it because she's in a bad mood that day or just doesn't feel like going out. If you are going to get her a present for her please, make it something very small like flowers or chocolate (definitely chocolate because everyone loves food) because she probably will stick to the no present deal. Don't make her feel bad for not getting you anything when you agreed on no presents.

Lastly, enjoy the day. Of course it might not be the way you wanted to spend the day of love with your favorite girl. But, you know she is happy and has a smile on her face.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
