We all go into summer wanting to have the most memorable and exciting summer yet. However, we get caught up in work, trips and sleeping in too late. In order to not get caught in a mundane routine this summer, I decided to make a bucket list of the things that will make my summer memorable.
1. Tube down the Congaree River
The Congaree River is a river that runs through downtown Columbia, SC. During the summer it can be seen full of tubes, kayaks, and canoes
2. Soda City
A place for local vendors to sell their goods. This includes, farmers, artists, seafood and local retailers. On a Saturday morning you can expect to see plenty of people and dogs walking around to see the local goods!
3. Pedal Parlor
Pedal Parlor is a two hour bar crawl based in Downtown Columbia! The bike is powered by 16 people and it goes to 6 different restaurants in the Vista. The bike does not serve alcohol, so if you aren't 21 it is still a fun way to see downtown Columbia from a new perspective!
4. Music Farm Concert
From small local bands, Fleetwood Mac tributes and country music stars, Music Farm is sure to have something for everyone. Located in Columbia, Charleston Music Farm is a small concert venue that is perfect for any night of the week.
5. Monetta Drive In
Drive in movies never go out of style! Also known as the "Big Mo," this drive in movie theater is perfect for a girls night or a family night.
