Sorry, Mrs. Clinton, You Do Not Have My Vote

The pressing reasons why she does not deserve my vote, or yours

Sorry, Mrs. Clinton, You Do Not Have My Vote

As American citizens, we have many civic duties to this country; one of those is the power to vote for candidates whom we believe are likely to bring this country to its fullest potential. It's time as Americans we stand up to these corrupt politicians who could care less about America and more about their own political agenda, starting with Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

First and foremost, Benghazi is the number one reason why I could never even fathom giving her my vote. To me, this scandal was not just about misusing emails and setting up a private server as Secretary of State, although I do believe that does show carelessness. This is about the four American men who lost their lives under Hillary's watch. Those emails were records of Hillary knowing that tensions in Libya were high and knowing that there were riots happening. She blamed the attack on a riot that had happened September 11, 2012, but as records show no riots had broken out that day (you can read more about that here).

This was a planned attack, and there are emails on record that show Clinton was advised that tensions in Libya were growing and getting out of hand. She was advised to bring in more men, but denied that request. The Americans in Libya requested extra help, and their requests were ignored. You can read the exact email here where it is said that the U.S. ignored the calls for help. As an American, I can honestly say that I am ashamed that nothing was done to help these men and, unfortunately, they suffered the consequences of a careless Secretary of State. If this scandal is not something that you are vividly informed about, I sincerely urge you to become informed; this should have never been brushed under the carpet by the FBI and I still believe Hillary deserves to be in jail for this.

Secondly, I find Hillary's ideological stances to be quite unsettling. For example, up until 2004 Hillary Clinton was openly against gay marriage. She went as far to denounce it, saying that she believes marriage is solely a sacred bond between a man and a woman. You can watch that here.

In 2008, when Hillary decided she would run for president she changed her political ideology to match that of America, and she was then in favor of civil unions. As of 2013, just two years before she would announce her running for the 2016 presidential election, she openly supported gay marriage as she said, "I support it personally and as a matter of policy and law." Yet for more than a decade she opposed gay marriage? Although this is just one example, I would urge you to watch the video below in its entirety, as it shows many more instances of her inconsistency on the social platform.

Thirdly, the DNC leaks were tell-all signs that Corrupt Clinton does not deserve anyone's vote. For starters, not only did these show that the media has an unfair bias towards the Democrats, it shows how much this hurt Senator Bernie Sanders' campaign for the presidency. For someone who was so against the system and claimed it to be corrupt, he sure didn't waste anytime being bought by the Clinton campaign and urging his supporters to vote for her even after it was revealed he was intentionally sabotaged. Delving in a little deeper, Debbie Wasserman Schultz -- the DNC chairperson who was forced to step down, primarily for major corruption after being biased toward the Clinton campaign -- attempted to sabotage the Sanders campaign. Basically, in laymen's terms, a woman who was fired for massive corruption was hired by the Clinton campaign saying she would be a perfect fit for the job of honorary chair. Now, if this doesn't scream that the Clinton campaign/Hillary Clinton is corrupt, then what does? This decision, on its own, speaks volumes, and definitely reveals a lot of truth behind her campaign.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.
