It is that time of year again. Sorority girls across the nation are searching for their future little and PNMs are looking for their home away from home. Panhellenic sororities across the nation are gearing up for one of the most anticipated weeks of the year, sorority recruitment. Here is sorority rush as told by "Gossip Girl."

1. Arriving With Your Rush Outfits

There is no better feeling than unpacking your brand new dresses that you get to show off during recruitment.

2. Meeting Your Rho Chi and Realizing She Gives Amazing Advice

Your Rho Chi or rush group leader, will be your saving grace throughout the week. She will guide you from house to house during the first round, provide snacks, play music and give amazing advice. Throughout the week your Rho Chi will play the part of your best friend, mom, role model and so much more.

3. Getting Ready With Your Roommate

More than likely you will not know a lot of girls when first coming to college. Therefore your roommate, if she is rushing, will become your best friend during rush. She will be the person you laugh about a funny moment with, cry to when you get dropped by your favorite house and will be the first person to know which houses are you favorite.

4. Walking Into Your First House

All eyes are on you, walk in like you own the place.

5. Realizing You Have To Stand Outside For Hours

If you are rushing at a school in the South, it will be miserably hot and you will be spending hours outdoors. Buy a fan, drink plenty of water and find shade whenever possible.

6. Receiving Your Daily Schedule

Receiving my schedule from my Rho Chi was always my favorite part of the day. You get to see who kept you, who dropped you and what your next two days will look like. This can be a stressful part of the week but just remember that everything happens for a reason.

7. Falling In Love With A House

Without a doubt, you will fall in love with houses and girls throughout the week. You will cheerish every moment you spend at their parties and pray that you will make it another round with them on your schedule.

8. Being Asked The Same Question At Every House

What's your major? What do you want to become involved with on campus? Where are you living this year? What do you want in a sisterhood? You will be asked these questions hundreds of times and by the end of the week you will be a pro at answering them.

9. Walking Past A House That Dropped You

Throughout the week you will drop houses and houses will drop you. At first, you may be sad or bitter. But you have to remind yourself to trust the system. Because, at the end of the week you will run home to the house that you are truly meant to be at.

10. Ranking Houses on Pref Night

Ranking on preference can be extremely hard. You may be stuck on two houses that you love and have to think for a long time about how you are going to rank them. Follow your heart and everything will work out perfectly.

11. Opening Your Bid And Running Home

Nothing beats opening your bid and running home to your new home. The long, stressful week is over and you know have hundreds of new sisters.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
