Ladies and Gentlemen it has arrived. Fall scented candles are burning in my living room, I broke out my favorite flannel the other day, and Bigs and Littles are being revealed which can mean only one thing. Its paddle season. Whether you're making a paddle for your Big or your Little you obviously want it to be perfect. But coming up with a paddle idea can be pretty hard. There's just too much inspiration on Pinterest to choose from. So after years of casually browsing for paddles, I've put together a list of a few ideas that you can't really go wrong with.

1. Designer

The designer themed paddle is a classic. If you can paint or modge podge a Lilly pattern then go for it. You could also keep it classy and simple with a Kate themed paddle with some black stripes or gold. You really can't go wrong with paddles like these.

2. Celebrity/Show Themed

Maybe your Big is always playing Drake or obsesses over her love of Yeezy. If there is a person, place, or show that your Big absolutely loves then go ahead and make it your theme. Its a great way to make your paddle stand out from the rest and your big is sure to love it

3. Floral

Floral paddles are so simple, so cute, and so easy. Add a little hot glue and fake flowers and you have a perfect paddle.

4. Simple

There is nothing wrong with a simple paddle. They're perfect for non crafty girls or if you don't really know your Big that well. Just pick a color scheme and some stick on letters at Hobby Lobby and you're good to go. Your Big is sure to love it.

5. Wood

Some of the cutest paddles I've seen are paddles like these. There so simple, rustic, and so trendy right now.

6. Flowers and Stripes

These paddles are perfect. They're pretty simple to make but look like they took a lot of effort. Painters tape make stripes very easy to make and the flowers just need a little hot glue.
