So you're heading home for the weekend and if you're like me you have a long drive ahead of you. What a better way to pass the drive by quickly than with an epic playlist. Well with the help of my good friend Miranda we did just that.

1. Don't Stop Believin' by Journey

This song is a staple. Its fun and something you can jam to.

2. Castle on the Hill by Ed Sheeran

This song gives me all the feels. It takes me back to my childhood and gets me super excited to be back in my hometown.

3. Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts

I think the title explains itself. It's a good jam for the open highway.

4. Shake it Off by Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is just the person one must listen to while driving. It's upbeat and a good song to dance to behind the steering wheel. But please don't take your hands off the wheel.

5. All Star by Smash Mouth

Shrek. That's the only thing that comes to my head when I hear this song. It's so catchy and you can sing along. Perfect for the car.

6. Brown Eyed Girl by Jimmy Buffett

Who doesn't know this song? This one makes for one epic sing along

7. Eye of the Tiger by Survivor

For those moments when you need encouragement to make it through that last stretch of the drive.

8. Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen

This one's a classic. Proceed to sing along.

9. Homecoming by Kanye West

It kind of fits for a road trip home.

10. Jessie's Girl by Rick Springfield

Another song everyone knows that's just fun to sing.

11. Stacy's Mom by Fountains of Wayne

What is it about 90's music that makes for a good sing a long.

12. All the Small Things by blink-182

I think this one explains itself.

13. Blank Space by Taylor Swift

You had to know another T-Swift song would make an appearance.

14. Rolling in the Deep by Adele

Adele songs are such sing a longs and that is what a road trip needs.

15. Closing Time by Semisonic

This song is just a great song.

16. You're Welcome by Dwayne Johnson

Because who doesn't love Moana and Dwayne THE ROCK Johnson.

17. With a Little Help From my Friends by the Beatles

This song is perfect because you get through a road trip with the help of music, life's best friend.

18. The Climb by Miley Cyrus

Everyone channels their inner Mariah Carey when they sing this song, let's be real, and a road trip needs some of that.

19. Stressed Out by Twenty-One Pilots

Let's be real, every one is stressed. This song is an anthem.

20. Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver

For me this is the perfect song to put on when I'm getting close to home. It makes me thankful to be back home and with my family.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
