Somedays you wake up and you're just down. You don't know why, you don't know how, you just are. Get up, take a shower, sing to these classic mood boosting songs and have a cup of coffee. Your day will start to look better in no time. Just turn these on and start dancing*. Let it all out.

*I do not recommend dancing in the shower. It can be dangerous.

"Wannabe" - Spice Girls

I don't care who you are, if you don't jam to this song, I'm not sure we can be friends. In the car, the shower, your room. Doesn't matter where, but we all know you have some sort of dance to this song.

"Ain't No Mountain High Enough" - Marvin Gaye

"You Make My Dreams Come True" - Hall & Oates

"I Believe In A Thing Called Love" - The Darkness

"Uptown Funk" - Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars

I imagine this is how car rides with me go. In fact, my mom has confirmed it.

"Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" - Shania Twain

"Banana Boat Song" - Harry Belafonte

"Stacy's Mom" - Fountains of Wayne

If you don't know all of the words to this song, you probably weren't a 90's kid.

"Cake By The Ocean" - DNCE

Were you a Jonas Brothers fan as a teen? Joe is a part of a new band and well, I hope all of their songs are like this.

"Want to Want Me" - Jason Derulo

"Downtown" - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

This song will make you want to drive downtown on a moped. You can't not be happy on a moped.

"On To Something Good" - Ashley Monroe

You may not like country, but this song will get stuck in your head and lift your spirits.

"Dancing in the Moonlight" - Toploader

"Come on Eileen" - Denys Midnight Runners

Not too long ago, I was dancing to this song in the car. Instant mood boost.

"Sweet Caroline" - Neil Diamond

"Dancing Queen" - ABBA

Yes. You can dance. You can jive. You can be the dancing queen (or king) with the help of this playlist.

"Shut up and Dance" - WALK THE MOON

"Electric Feel" - MGMT

"I'll Be There For You" - The Rembrandts

Clap along. You know you want to.

"One Week" - Barenaked Ladies

This song is so '90s, it's almost painful.

"Put Your Records On" - Corinne Bailey Rae

"The Way You Make Me Feel" - Michael Jackson

"Best Song Ever" - One Direction

They're everyone's guilty pleasure. Even if they aren't yours, you can make fun of their dancing/acting skills in this video.

If those don't work, watch this video of Snoop Dogg narrating "Planet Earth."

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
