Road trips are one of the best parts of any vacation, in my opinion. My favorite part of taking road trips with friends is creating our playlist that we'll belt out on the open road, without hesitation.

So whether it's for a road trip or just a playlist you'll keep with you to belt out in the car when you're having a bad day, here's a list of my 11 top favorite songs to belt out in the car on any given day, and you should put on your playlist:

1. "Hello" - Adele

While it's not the most upbeat song, it's a pretty fun one to belt out no matter how well you can sing.

2. "N***as in Paris" - Jay Z and Kanye West

While some people can't rap like Jay Z or Yeezy, at least trying is fun. My favorite part of this song is listening intently to the ridiculous lyrics.

3. "Work" - Rihanna

There's only like 10 words in this song, which makes it easy to sing along, plus it's just a fun upbeat song, whether you like Rihanna or not.

4. "Perfect" - One Direction

One Direction just wasn't the same after Zayn betrayed us all and left the group, but their post-Zayn songs are actually pretty good. This one, like "Hello," isn't super upbeat, but sometimes the ballads are the best ones to belt out.

5. "Pillow Talk" - Zayn

Speaking of Zayn, while most Directioners can't get over the fact that he blindsided us all and left One Direction, you have to admit he sounds pretty good solo.

6. "My House" - Flo Rida

The perfect party song! It's a really good song to get you pumped for anything!

7. "Cake By The Ocean" - DNCE

If you can get past the fact that the Jonas Brothers all went their separate ways and Joe created this band, it's a pretty good song. Sure, it's an acquired taste in regards to sound, but either way, it's a silly song, to say the least.

8. "Lemonade" - Beyoncé (just the whole album, because Beyoncé is queen)

Beyoncé, need I say more?

9. "Countdown" - Beyoncé

This is hands down my favorite Beyonce song. Sure, it's one of her older songs, but will you ever forget the words?

10. "Fergalicious" - Fergie

I think all girls know this song as their middle school go-to song that they requested at school dances. You'll never be able to forget the lyrics to this song due to the fact that you constantly had it on repeat growing up.

11. "Get Low" - Lil Jon

Another middle school go-to song at the dances, but you have to admit it will always be a classic. No matter what, this song will always get you pumped up.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
