College students deal with a lot of stress during their four years. I have dealt with so much stress since I have been in college. Meeting deadlines can be hectic, studying for a major test is a buzz kill, and keeping up your grades along with extracurricular activities; the list is endless. Below are the types of ways I have noticed that people deal with their stress.
1. Eating comfort food
I admit that when I am stressed I eat comfort food and cupcakes are definitely my go to food or any kind of junk food really.
2. Going to the gym
Sometimes when people are stressed out they workout, and that's their way of coping with stress. However, you will never seem me working out to burn out my stress.
3. Watching TV
Sometimes you just have to put everything away for a while and just watch some mindless TV to distress.
4. Taking a walk
Sometimes the fresh air really helps you calm down when you are stressed.
5. Going to Church
My Gram said that going to church helps relax the mind. I mean it worked for me once and maybe it will work for someone else too.
There are probably many other ways to deal with stress that occurs in this crazy thing we call life. These are the ways I have seen people deal with stress. Try some of these options or maybe find some other alternatives to deal with your stress.
