Snapchat has become a staple in our social media life. Its quick and easy use is utilized for pictures, videos, and even conversation. Sure, some use it more than others (we all know that one person you can seriously only get a hold of through Snapchat). However, you can bet your bottom dollar that somewhere hidden in the apps of your intelligent phone is that little yellow square with the tiny white ghost. So, no matter how you use Snapchat, I'm sure some way, somehow, you can relate to the following 10 Snapchats as a UW-L college student.
1. Snapping a Joe Gow sighting (and if you're lucky, a selfie) on campus because his presence is holy in itself.
2. Snapping someone under the clock tower with slight pity to the bad luck they have just thrust upon themselves.
3. Snapping nonchalantly while you're at the Rec "working out" to prove that you are in fact a B.A. college student who actually does have time to get your hour of exercise in each day.
When you really just have time to do a few laps and get the snap in.
4. Snapping a pic of the river with a unique and clever caption like "I love lax" *La Crosse Filter* *heart-eyed emoji*
5. Snapping a picture of notes from that one class you have where you, honest to God, don't know if what you're even writing is a registered language.
6. Snapping your completed schedule after literally sweating and having heart problems through the process of registration.
7. Snapping a picture of your friend in the far distance to demonstrate your ability to creepily recognize them from afar.
8. Snapping in Murphy with the time filter somewhere between 12 a.m. and 2 a.m. accompanied by the heavily crying emoji and #finals.
9. Snapping your gourmet macaroni that you spent minutes slaving over to show you can, in fact, cook for yourself.
10. And finally a cliché, but very worthy, Snapchat of the view of our campus, our city, and our people from the magnificent altitude of Grandad Bluff (With an arrow pointing to Minnesota in the distance specifying the area we must never venture to).
