Don't be a hoser, drop your gloves for the ultimate fight against cancer.
On Friday, March 6, at 8:30 p.m sharp we have a date. Not a sexy candlelight-dinner kind of date, but rather a sexy let's-raise-money-for-cancer-research-and-prevention kind of date. The very best kind.
Inspired by their chapters at Indiana University, Mizzou fraternities Beta Theta Pi and Sigma Chi are taking action on the ice, hosting the first annual Slap Shot On Cancer.
Indiana's 2013-2014 event, Dropping The Puck On Cancer, raised more than $30,000 for The American Brain Cancer Association.
Money raised at Mizzou's event will be donated at large to local organizations Camp Kesem and the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center.
Raise your hand if you’ve ever been affected by cancer.
Your beautiful aunt battled it, your chocolate lab fought it, your grandma pushed through it, your hilarious uncle, your mom, your dad, your neighbor, your best friend, your pledge brother, your little...
It doesn’t matter who you’re fighting for, just choose to fight.
Get loud for fraternal collaboration, good-looking hockey players (yes you, Dominic Polizzi), exceptional flow (we see you Jake Carothers), sweet dangles and, most importantly, raising awareness about cancer.
Practice your celebration dance, because regardless of who wins on the ice, the real winner is you for slapping cancer in the face. Buy your ticket here, beauties.
Puck cancer. Lets have a good time, put the biscuit in the basket and raise money for a phenomenal cause.
Grab your gloves kids, we are headed to the barn.
