Time and time again, my sisters have shown me the true definition of a best friend. Since the beginning, we have been inseparable. So I guess you can say they are my real "day ones." When you grow up with someone and spend almost everyday together, a bond is formed that is unlike any other. There are many things shared among my sisters and I that no one else would understand.
Having sisters that are your best friends exceeds any other friendship because there are no rules. You don’t have to make plans with them because nine out of 10 times your schedules just automatically work together. When you’re bored, you can make them hang out with you, whether they want too or not. Fighting with your sisters is a well-known thing. My sisters and I use to fight all the time when we were younger. Now when we do actually fight, which is quite rare, the fight lasts about a whole 10 minutes. I can’t stay mad at my sisters because than I have no one to hang out with when I'm bored. There are many other things to do rather than fight over whose soccer shorts are whose.
Instead of fighting over clothes, my sisters and I are constantly sharing them. By having my sisters as my best friends, I gained two extra wardrobes to choose from. It’s much more convenient to go shopping in their closets rather than the mall. I’ll give my sisters the satisfaction by saying that I admire their sense of style. It’s safe to say that I wear something from my sisters at least three times a week. I wish I could have access to their closets 24/7.
The greatest thing about having my sisters as my best friends is the unconditional support system amongst us. I’m their number one fan and strive each day to make them as proud as they make me. We go to each other about everything and rely heavily on each other’s opinion. They have gotten me through the toughest times and have been by side for every achievement. There really is no one else I want standing next to me while I succeed in life.
So to my sisters, my best friends, thank you for everything. Thank you for being my people. I don’t think there are enough words to explain my overall thoughts about you two. Here’s to many more sleepless nights laughing, car rides singing, and everything else we’ll experience together. Don’t ever leave my side, love you both always.
