In this world, we are blessed with everything that we have; however, she's the most amazing gift if you have her. She's the one who knows what's in your brain and heart without saying a word. She's the one who you bother the most, yet you can't imagine your life without her in it. Yes I'm talking about a sister! No one can ever be a better best friend than a sister. I consider myself lucky to have sisters and my life is beautiful because I have them in it.
Luckily, I have five sisters and they are all older than me, married and have kids. I would be lying if I say I am closer to one of them more than the others because they are all my best friends and the best advisors. Each one of them has helped me with infinite situations and I have learned so much from them. When you have older sisters they become your idols and you go to them for everything because they have been through the same things you are facing or will be facing and who's a better advisor than an older sister to go to? Thank God for sisters. They are the key to every locked box because every time I come across a situation where I can't make a decision I would go to them and they magically would make it so much easier for me to make the best choice.
A sister is not only a good advisor, but she's also the person with the most amazing heart. She is the one who loves you the most and cares for you intimately. If she sees you happy then she's rejoiced too and if you're not feeling good she will know it even if you try to hide it. Whenever I am in a bad mood I always try to hide it from the people around me and it always works with everyone except when I am around my sisters. They realize it instantly and ask what's wrong. It amazes me how they sense my bad mood, even if it's a little thing. It's like they are inside my brain and know everything. That's how close a sister is. It's hard to explain the love of a sister because there's no limit to it.
Another reason why I could not imagine my life without my sisters is because of their adorable kids. My oldest nephews are twenty one and the youngest is almost a year old. Their older kids are my best friends and their youngest kids are like my kids. How lucky and blessed am I to have sisters who brought me beautiful nieces and nephews who I adore so much? Everything I learn from my sisters I teach it back to their kids in hope to be a good advisor to them just as my sister were to me. My sisters have made me an Aunt so many times and thanks to them I have a big, beautiful family.
To me, there's no one more lovely and important than a sister. I know that there are people who don't talk to their sisters and understand that they have reasons not to but I will only say one thing to them: you're missing out on a very beautiful gift that God gave you because a sister is irreplaceable. No one in your life can ever be like her and once you let yourself be close to her, you will realize that one of the best people to have in your life is a sister. I love my sisters so much and I thank God for having them.
