We all know a friend that takes care of you when you're out with friends or at a party. Or that one friend that would drop anything to do something just for you. But you might even know what I'm talking about because YOU ARE that "mom" friend. This is definitely how you know you're the mom friend.

1. You are constantly cleaning up after people

Even though it isn't your house if you see something that is messy, you automatically go into mom mode and clean it spotless. No job is too tough for that one mom friend.

2. You are always telling people not to do something because they will get hurt.

"Rebecka, Will you please stop trying to stick your head out of the car window on the highway?" "Anna, we are leaving now whether you like it or not." "Hannah, I'm not going to tell you again."

3. Always having a full car of people

Not only do you have a "mom car" or an SUV, you are constantly driving place to place trying to get your friends somewhere. You are also fabulous with directions and finding your way somewhere, so that's a plus.

4. Putting others feelings first

Even though you find her in the wrong, you always let them know that you care and show the most empathy for them because you care dearly about their well-being.

5. Your purse having all the necessities of life.

The countless and never-ending bottles of pain relievers, hand lotion, and Germ-x at everyone's expense. You are always the hook-up when it comes to needing things in that big purse of yours.

6. Snacks, on snacks, on snacks.

What's a long road trip without a bag of Cheetos, a handful of Skittles, and a family size bag of Doritos that "mom" bought from the store beforehand?

7. Having coupons and knowing the good sales

You always know the sales at your favorite clothing stores or the deals at the grocery store when it's your time of the month to go shopping. "30% off on all sale items? Count me in!"

8. Texting "Did you get home safe?" to your friends after a long night.

If you're like me, then you MUST tell your friends that they have to text you once they get home. Even if its "Yes, I'm home" or "Sure", every word counts. (Let's be honest)

9. Watching Food Network and the Cooking Channel every minute of every day.

"Did you see that new episode of Fixer Upper? Chip and Joanna Gaines are like goals" as your friends look at you like you're freaking insane for liking mom shows. I mean what do they expect??

10. Knowing and being proud to be that one "mom" friend.

No matter how many times you are called "mom", you secretly enjoy being there for your friends and having a title that means something to everyone. Long live that one mom friend.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
