Being a low maintenance girl is a pretty easy life style. Often times low maintenance girls are mistaken as "lazy" or "sloppy", but that's not the case. Low maintenance girls just take less to function. In my eyes if you are a low maintenance girl, that means that you have a lot of confidence to just walk around being a plain Jane.

Here are some signs that you are a low maintenance girl:

1. Makeup is rare.

Wearing makeup takes away from natural beauty. Low maintenance girls own maybe 5 things of makeup. Eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss, eye shadow and maybe a easy foundation. Low maintenance girls never wear makeup because, 1, it's expensive, 2, it takes time out of sleeping, and 3, it's a pain in the butt to put on. So being a low maintenance girl that doesn't wear makeup is saving herself money, time and patience.

2. You don't have a lot of shoes.

Having a lot of shoes is just like having a lot of makeup, it's pointless. Who needs 100 pairs of shoes? Low maintenance girls have anywhere between 3 pairs and 10 pairs. Usually a pair or two of flip flops, sneakers are a must, slippers, mockaskins, rain/snow boots, and one or two pairs of fancy shoes. Having tons of shoes also takes up precious closet space.

3. Leggins are pants.

Just like regular girls, leggings are pants for everyone. Low maintenance girls just have more leggings that they wear usually 5/7 days of the week. Wearing leggins and a t-shirt just makes getting ready so easy. You can wake up 10 minutes before class and just throw on leggings and a t-shirt and still have time to make it to class.

4. Usually the first one ready.

Whether it is going out, or going to class, you usually are the first one ready. When going out, you just pick out either jeans or leggins and cute shirt and cute shoes and just put on simple makeup. When you go to class you throw on whatever is easier for that day and usually you leave the room before your roommates.

5. Buns or ponytails are the best.

Putting your hair in a high bun or a ponytail is just the easiest thing to do when going somewhere, especially after a shower. Putting your hair up takes like not even a minute, while actually doing something to your hair can take anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour.

6. Staying in on weekends is fun.

Weekends are meant for relaxing after the long hard week you just had. Low maintenance girls are perfectly okay with kicking back on the couch and watching a movie or Netflix with chips or popcorn. Also by staying in, you avoid the whole getting ready process.

7. Jewelry is bare minimum.

Just like makeup and shoes, who do you need a lot of jewelry? Low maintenance girls usually have few earrings, maybe a couple necklaces and bracelets but that's it.

8. You don't need expensive gifts.

Your favorite gifts are ones from the heart, not the store. Yes gifts from the store are nice, but we really enjoy gifts that have more than just a price value on it.

So all you low maintenance girls, lets all come together and watch Netflix in out leggings or sweatpants with no makeup and hair in a bun and eat food all night.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
