Often we think about and reminisce our childhoods and the TV shows we used to watch like Rugrats, Winnie the Pooh, Powerpuff Girls, and many more of the more popular shows but we have often forgotten about the other amazing shows since no one really talks about them so I have put together a list of some of the few amazing shows that we should remember and if you haven’t watched any of them, its never too late to start.

1. "Bear in the Big, Blue House"

This was a show about a bear who lived in a house with other puppet friends like Treelo the lemur, Ojo the bear cub, Tutter the mouse, and Pip and Pop the otters. They solve problems and he teaches lessons about different things children need to learn about, like how to get rid of nightmares or sharing. He had shadow friends who sang lullabies and the show always ended with a recap of the episode and the "Goodbye" duet with Luna the Moon. I still get that song stuck in my head!

2. "Out of the Box"

Do you remember Vivian and Tony? This duo hung out with some kids from the neighborhood and built a fort outside and when they went in, it was a huge playhouse where Vivian did crafts with the kids and showed the TV viewers how to do them too and Tony would sing and play instruments and make his own using pots and pans and whatever else he could find. I used to have a hard time finding this show when it was on but it was definitely one of my favorites!

3. "Rolie Polie Olie"

This show is about a robot family that live on another planet in outer space. It's simple but cute. Olie, his sister Zowie, and his best friend Billy live as robots and discover the values of friendship, family, and growing up to be a great kid. Olie does things like milk cows that make ice cream instead of milk and play basketball with their babysitter named Wheelie. Did I mention that every object has eyes and a smile?

4. "The Big Comfy Couch"

"With Loonette and Molly - a clown and her dolly on the big comfy couch!" Loonette frequently makes messes and cleans them up by stuffing everything into and under her couch. She does a daily clock stretch- she lays on a carpet with a clock on it and her arms and legs are the hands of the clock as she stretches. (I used to follow along with her when I was little). She has dust bunnies under her couch and always visits her granny and the unicycle riding mailman. Every episode finishes with a story and the "10 second tidy".

5. "Dragon Tales"

I used to watch this after school when I was in elementary school every day. It's a cartoon about a girl named Emmy and her little brother, Max. They say a rhyme while holding a dragon scale and are able to go to a magical place with dragons and they go on adventures and learn things about being scared, jealous, and even about bullying!

6. "Zoboomafoo"

This show taught you all about animals and how to take care of and respect them and starred brothers, Martin and Chris Kratt and the lemur puppet, Zoboomafoo! They used animation, puppetry, and claymation to entertain and teach children. They also feature music and sounds from around the world and video clips of animals. They also had a real lemur whose real name is Jovian who actually just recently passed away at age 20.

7. "Rocket Power"

Skateboarding, snowboarding, and surfing and every other extreme sport? It's all there in "Rocket Power". Four young friends, Otto Rocket, his sister, Reggie, and their pals Twister and Sam excel at just about every sport you can imagine. This show made me want to try skateboarding and surfing and had me believe they were some of the coolest kids... I can't be the only one, right?

8. "As Told By Ginger"

"Someone once told me the grass was much greener on the other side..." This one was a little more grown up and was about three not so popular girls, Ginger, Macie, and Dodie. They face the struggles any pre-teen girls would face like doing makeup, talking to boys, and just trying to fit in, especially with the popular girls. She also has a gross little brother who collects garbage and other weird things and keeps them in the "doghouse". I used to watch this show with my mom all the time. The most memorable episode for me being when Macie sings a song about being a little seal girl, living in a real world.

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
