33 Ways To Show Her You Love Her

You don't need a grand gesture to show someone you love them, sometimes the simplest of actions make the biggest difference.

After a certain point, the words "I love you" can only mean so much. Relationships get tiring and there are only so many big gestures one has the time and money to afford. Showing your partner love can mean so much more than saying a few words. Not only can the words start to have less meaning, but your wallet can only handle so many fancy dinners and trips. Here are a few ways to show your partner you love them without using the words "I love you" and that cost you less than $10.

Write a love letter and leave it somewhere to surprise her.

Clean her room.

Make her bed.

Put clean sheets on her bed for her.

Buy her a candle.

Buy her an ice cream cone.

Buy her a bouquet of flowers from Publix.

Bring her a pack of her favorite candy.

Give her a back rub.

Ask about her day, then listen.

Take her to the movie she's been telling you about.

 Tell her she looks beautiful.

Post on social media about her.

Introduce her, shamelessly, to your friends.

Invite her to hang out with you and your friends.

 Plan an indoor movie night.

Bring her her favorite soda after a long day.

mail her a letter, even if you live close to each other it will still come as a surprise and make her day

Binge watch her favorite tv show with her, even if you hate it.

 Hold her hand in public.

Text her in the middle of the day and check on her.

Take (cute) candid pictures of her.

 Introduce her to your family.

 Meet her family.

Go to that craft fair she really wants to go to, without complaining.

 Take her window shopping.

Buy her a cute pair of cozy socks.

Leave sticky notes with things you love about her written on them throughout her apartment.

Make a playlist of songs that remind you of her.

Play the said playlist for her.

Pick her up after class/work and take her to get a treat.

Surprise her with lunch at work.

Pick her up from her apartment, with Chick-Fil-A in hand and take her on a picnic.

Okay, maybe this is just me. But still, this is possibly the greatest idea of all time.

Showing people that you love them doesn't have to be hard, painful or expensive. Putting in a little extra effort everyday by doing something small can go a long way. Show your girl that you love her today.

As Summer Ends
prexels.com

It's the last week of summer. I'm already back at school. I'm cringing at textbook prices, questioning if I really want to be taking the credits that I am and trying to figure out when, exactly, I'm going to sleep this semester. I'm starting a new chapter in my life. Things are changing, like they always are. I'm saying goodbye to yet another summer.

Finding God in Anti-God Classes

If you look closely enough, God is revealed in a new, powerful, beautiful, and magnificant way.

Many times in college we have events that make us question our faith. Growing up in a predominantly southern christian town at a public high school where the teachers were pretty open about their beliefs and most students were involved in a church, or at least claimed to be Christian, it was really hard to be faced with opposite views this first year at a public university. I have never had a reason to question my faith, until questions were posed to me that made me discover a new level of faith. When a professor who has their Ph.D. and seems to have worlds of knowledge, but they clearly disapprove of what you believe, it can rock your world. It seemed like all odds were put against me as three of my professors and classes were challenging what I believed about literally everything. The very foundation of who I am. This semester instead of feeling farther from God, I feel so much closer and more in awe because of these classes that were put in place to rattle me, but proved to rattle me into a deeper level of amazement with the world around me.

Lonesome for Paris

An experience I had in Paris was the closest thing I've had to an out-of-body experience, and I still wonder about it today.

Lonesome for Paris
Isabel Coffey

Last summer, I took a week-long trip to Paris. A close friend from high school invited me to stay with her in the apartment she was renting for the summer. I spent my week touring, exploring, dining, and shopping—all the expected wonderful things. But there was one day that showed me what I had never understood about that clichéd magic of Paris.

Why Does It Hurt?

The question everyone asks is "Why?" Why did the chicken cross the road? Why did I buy that? But the most dangerous "why," the why that breaks us down and makes us overthink, is when we ask ourselves "why" after a breakup or heartache. Why me? Why now? Why did this happen? Why after all this time do I still feel this hurt? Why. Why. Why.
