There are so many arguments about the validity of the infamous Ouija board. Is it real? Is someone in the group moving it and not admitting to it? Is an otherworldly power moving it and answering the questions? You may be one of those people who are “above spirits”. You may not believe in ghosts and other people’s real-life interactions with spirits. That is completely acceptable. As someone who does Angel Tarot readings, has used a pendulum, and is certified in Integrated Energy Therapy (IET, an angelic healing) and Reiki, I do believe in that “juju” – pretty much comes with the aforementioned territory. That being said, I am not trying to prove anything to you. If you don’t believe or if you are skeptical, that is completely up to you. Who am I to tell you what to believe? May I ask you one thing, though? Why would you want to use an Ouija board?
I have heard many stories surrounding an Ouija board. I have heard what has and has not happened when friends have dared to use one. They say these boards, made of cardboard from a toy company, can communicate with the dead and nonliving and open doors.
You may miss your loved ones. You may be curious to see if it works. You may want to know your future. These are all good and well. My thing is, why would you want to risk anything happening to you or others while using the board? You may open doors you can’t close. You may welcome something that attaches itself to you. Do you know how to get rid of it? Without taking the right protocols such as grounding yourself and protecting your energy, you may not be able to control as much as you think you can.
So here is exactly why you should NEVER use an Ouija board:
1. You may be inviting harmful spirits into your home.
2. You open yourself up to possession.
3. You may get a demon instead of a spirit.
4. You may not be able to get rid of it.
5. It could cause mental illness.
6. It could make you or others sick.
7. It could kill you. (in severe and extreme cases)
The list could go on and on. Let’s be real here. Skeptical or not you know, typically, what an Ouija board is used for. Is there anything you really need to say to your nana that you can’t wait or say in prayer? Are your questions so important that you need to risk asking a piece of cardboard that can potentially open some portal? Believe me, if the dead or any spirit wants to talk to you they will find a way. You don’t go interrogating and starting that conversation. Their people will call your people. Believe what you want, but after that list, do you really want risk any of that?
