UofL SGA's election open house was a huge success, thanks to all of you who came out!
Tons of Fazoli's was enjoyed, and students got to learn a lot about being a part of SGA from current representatives.
"This is really to have people come in here, get food, ask any of us on Top Four or other Senators how to get involved, what the election process is like and how campaigns work," said Academic Vice President Alex Stewart. "Really we're just trying to engage everybody and get them involved."
Students Kristen Carter and Jeremy Jackson came to the event with questions about SGA and left with some great information on how to be active in the UofL community.
"We came to the open house to learn more about SGA and how it works," said Carter.
"My friend and I were pretty involved in high school," said Jackson. "Now that we're on campus, we just want to try to get to know some of the people who are in SGA so we can make our way in and try to make change on campus."
Although the open house is over, you can always have your questions answered by anyone in SGA.
Whether you want to run for a position, work with student involvement, or just have an idea of something SGA can do for you, their doors are always open!
Don't forget to keep an eye out for SGA elections, which start on Feb. 3.
