It's crazy to think it will soon all come to an end.

First of all, thank you.

This year has been the best of my high school career. I made many more friends, memories, and did as much as possible. It's crazy to think it will soon all come to an end. I have been so ready to move on to the next chapter, but now, as it is approaching, I'm actually realizing it will really end.

There have been so many "last times."

From my last first day, to my last last day, and everything in between. I have taken so many pictures and I have now started to realize they will be on display at my open house soon as memories.

A lot has changed this year, yet I have been happier.

Everyone is always so ready to grow up, but when we finally we do it's crazy how much changes. Whether it's learning how to adult, or accepting life's setbacks, there is a lot of change. Every piece of life is molding me into the person I am becoming. Now, I'll be going into college as nearly a whole new person. This year brought a lot of change, memories, heartache, and happiness, and I'm very content with that.

I am finally grasping the fact I will no longer spend every day with the people I have grown up with.

This fall brings a new school, a new environment, and new friends. I have gotten close to so many people over my high school career. However, this year I definitely had the best friends. From the deep talks to all the laughs, I have treasured every moment with the people I hold closest.

I will continue to look back on these special times.

Senior year brought so many good times. Sporting events, spirit weeks, late night dances, friend bonfires, prom, and next graduation. This is it. We will have pictures. We will have memories. But, we can never live these moments again.

Senior year, you have been good to me. Now, I am ready for the next chapter and to move out into the real world. You will always be special and the holder of so many great times.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
