A new semester...

A new semester, a new time to learn. Bridges to build, and bridges to burn.

New professors and classmates, engagements, and save the dates.

New rooms to get lost finding, friendships that will be binding.

New romance blossoms as connections are made, more student loans, and tuition to be paid.

New convo speakers that cause controversy, heated debates between political parties.

New online classes, and convo skip passes.

New seasons, new breaks, and road trips to take.

New memories, moments, and laughs will be shared, new lab partners soon to be paired.

New sadness and pain, rainbows after the rain.

New adventures and dreams, steps taken in pursuit of these things.

New ideas, inventions, trends and fads, reading sweet stories that make our hearts glad.

A new semester, a new time to shine, let the light out, and live divine.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
