The Selfie-Stick: Fad or Phenomenon?

The selfie stick (n.): a stick that provides an aerial and unreal view from the frontal facing camera giving you the ultimate selfie experience.

But, the selfie stick is much more than what meets the eye.

The first patent for the selfie stick came as early as 1984 and later in 2003. It was just a matter of time before this simple invention turned into a cultural worldwide phenomenon.

Let's face it. Everyone's doing it.

Celebrities.


Athletes.

College kids.

Families.

Adults.

People worldwide.

and even....The President of the United States.

The "selfie" is something that defines this generation. It allows us to capture better moments more easily and helps create long lasting memories. So, with that being said, taking a selfie or using a selfie stick helps make time stamps on special moments that will last not only a generation or through a fad, but a lifetime.
