We have always been told that high self-esteem will lead to a fulfilling life. If you are truly happy with yourself then no one else can change that.
But too many people confuse self-worth and self-esteem, and that’s a problem. Of course its a good thing to think and feel good about ourselves. But what happens the moment we don’t?
Just because you don’t feel good about yourself doesn’t mean you aren’t valuable. But so many people believe that’s how it works!
Instead of trying so hard to “feel good” about ourselves, isn’t it better to already know our “self” is good?
That’s the key difference between self-esteem and self-worth. Self-worth is already knowing that you are valuable, regardless of how you feel about yourself that day.
Sometimes it can be a struggle balancing your life between confidence and completely accepting yourself, and that’s OK! It takes people so many years to finally find their sense of self-worth.
But I’m here to help you get a head start on that.
Here are 4 simple reasons why you are worthy and valuable…
1. Because your past doesn’t matter.
It's done and over with! There is no point in staying in the past; pick up your thoughts and run forward.
2. Because the Universe created you.
You cannot be anything other than worthy. Realize that the Universe brings things and does things for a bigger purpose. It's no accident you're the way you are, you are perfect!
3. Because if you remove judgment from your heart and mind you’ll realize what you’re worth.
All the small things in the back of you’re mind telling you otherwise are just that, little and unimportant. The answer is simple: If you get rid of your inner judgement now, you’ll find your true, biggest worth.
4. Because you said so.
Do you know your mind doesn't know the difference between a lie and the truth? Tell yourself that you are worthy enough times. Sooner or later its bound to catch up with you.
