13 Things to Do While Waiting for Season Seven of Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones has become one of the most popular shows on television. We have a very long wait until the next season. With so many theories finally confirmed, I can hardly contain my excitement. If you're anything like me, you may be wondering what you will do on Sunday evenings until next spring. Here are a few things to keep you occupied while waiting a year for season seven.

1. Get a Game of Thrones Coloring Book

This is one detailed coloring book, so it should take about a year to finish.

2. Play Game of Thrones Risk

Gather up some other GoT watching pals and play this two board game of war and strategy. It gets intense. Unlike normal Risk, you can travel and attack harbors while conquering Westeros and Essos. It's a literal board Game of Thrones.

3. Listen to Iwan Rheon's Folk Pop Music

Now that Ramsay Bolton (SPOILER ALERT) is dead, he lives on through Iwan Rheon's music. He's actually pretty good. It's pretty mellow music so it's a different side to the Iwan Rheon/Ramsay we are use to. You could listen to it while coloring in your new GoT coloring book!

4. Turn your toilet into your very own Iron Throne

Then you can poop like a king! Just avoid crossbows and sleeping with your son's lover and you will be fine.

5. Play Cornhole

Fun game with friends (or enemies). Declare your loyalty for your house and fight to the death with tiny sacks filled with beads.

6. Become the Mother of Dragons with your own dragon eggs

It might not be a good idea to burn your dead husband and walk into the flames though...

7. Become the Grand Maester of Cocktails

Perfecting these recipes would take awhile. Then you can invite all of your friends over for the season sever premier and get turnt while white walkers get burnt.

8. "Hold the Door" for strangers

Too soon?

9. Learn Dothraki

Daenerys did it in like a season, so that means we can, too, right?

10. Take up sword fighting

After learning Dothraki, play the part of a true blood rider and take up sword fighting. Maybe start with a wooden stick like Arya or just try fencing instead.

11. Go skydiving

I'm sure the view is great in the Veil, but make sure to bring a parachute.

12. Become a White Walker

I don't know why you would want to do this, but whatever it take to pass the time.

13. Read the Books

This might be the most time consuming option, but it will sure keep you busy (and you may even run into more secrets and theories along the way!).

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
